WARRANTY BASICS

TERMS MAY VARY IF PURCHASED ON A 3rd PARTY SITE SUCH AS EBAY OR AMAZON.

THE BASICS - Unless otherwise noted, all rebuilt & reconditioned parts carry a 30-day limited warranty from the day of receipt. New products carry a 1-year manufacturer warranty. Used parts do not carry a warranty. 

If you suspect there is a warranty with a product you purchased from The Part Guy, email us promptly with details of the problem and contact information and we will respond as soon as possible. We want to help!

Warranty is for repair or replacement of the part only, solely at the discretion of The Part Guy. We do not cover labor, materials or any other parts we did not supply. All potential warranty claims are subject to part inspection, and limited only to a defect in workmanship or product integrity. The Part Guy will cover the round-trip STANDARD shipping costs of a VALIDATED (see Warranty Limits) warranted item back to you, provided it can be repaired or replaced. If a VALID warranted item cannot be repaired or replaced, The Part Guy will refund the full initial payment and the cost of STANDARD return shipping. If the shipping amount is not shown the return label, will require a copy of the original receipt. We do not cover EXPEDITED shipping. 

WARRANTY LIMITS

Warranty is voided if a part that has been disassembled or modified in any way, regardless of whether or not it functioned correctly at the onset. DO NOT ALTER ANY PRODUCT YOU HAVE PURCHASED FROM US UNLESS WE HAVE AUTHORIZED IT IN WRITING OR WARRANTY IS IMMEDIATELY VOIDED.  ABSOLUTELY NO EXCEPTIONS.

Warranty is voided if a part that has been damaged or has failed due to improper installation or modification.

Warranty is voided a part has failed because of failure of another part on the vehicle.

Warranty is voided on any air-conditioning part that contains refrigerant within it if the filter-drier has not been changed at the same time as the new, reconditioned or rebuilt part was installed, or if the air-conditioning system has not been properly cleaned of contaminants.  Even if you are not converting to 134a, please see step three of "Converting Your A/C System to 134a" by CLICKING HERE.

Any voided warranty will be returned to the customer at the customer's expense. 

VALIDATED WARRANTY

We will cover the round-trip shipping STANDARD shipping costs to get the correct item to you, if available. If a replacement part is not available, we will refund the full initial payment and the cost of STANDARD return shipping. If the shipping is not shown the return label, will require a copy of the original receipt. 

We shall not be responsible or subjected to any action for damages. There are no conditions, representations, or warranties, expressed or implied, statutory or otherwise, except those herein contained.
